Pasta Festival in Italy

Pasta Festival in Italy

I’ve gone by many names in my life, Kakie (parental nickname…), Trinkie (ditto), Kat, Katie, “Hey You…”, and maybe a few I don’t even know about, but whatever you call me I’m a traveler at heart. When I was in 5th grade we had to write an essay about something we wanted to do when we got older. Most kids wrote about being able to drive or buy whatever they wanted, but I wrote about wanting to travel. I knew since at least 10 that I would study abroad in college, it was never a question.

In high school I went to London and Paris with my family. Then in college I did study abroad, in Perugia Italy. I traveled in Europe and Italy visiting, Dublin, Cinque Terre, and Rome and other fantastic places.

Now I’m working on discovering my new hometown (for now) of Syracuse. Turns out there’s a lot to see around here and I’m looking forward to seeing it all. There will also be more world travels coming, I’ll make sure of that. I hope you enjoy joining Adam and I on all of our adventures. Life sure is a trip.
